Winter Workshop

"It was a Dark and Stormy..."

A workshop for young people ages 9 through 12

This murder mystery play is sort of Agatha Christie meets Clue. The wealthy owner of a large old house is found lying on the floor and is thought to be dead. The police are called, suspects, and there are many, are interviewed and many theories are debated. After much suspense, the plot is resolved and there is no murder at all. This is a perfect murder mystery for kids, with no violence. There are, however, many quirky characters to play including, the "dead" man's relatives, his lawyer, his banker, the servants, some spies, the rich next-door-neighbors, a stupid police officer and a police inspector who faints at the mere mention of blood.

Registration is currently being accepted and will continue until the first class meeting or until the class is full. Maximum class size is 20. Fees are $200 and include a T-shirt and 10 tickets.

Classes begin Jan. 17 and continue Tues. and Thurs. at 4:45 - 6:45 pm
Performances will be Saturdays March 3, 10 & 17 at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
